The College emerged in response to a growing demand for individualised learning programmes. The competitive demands of external examinations such as the NSW Higher School Certificate and the variable quality in the teaching provided by schools meant that many students were often floundering with the academic demands and pressure of maximising their learning outcomes.
We believe all people have the ability to succeed with the correct guidance and input. We relish the challenge of identifying areas requiring more attention and structuring detailed learning programmes which both complement and enhance the work students are completing at school.
We are committed to the development of the whole individual. Importance is placed on the emotional and psychological growth of students, equipping them with the sense of self and confidence to engage successfully in a world of increasing complexity and change.
We have been delighted that a significant number of our past students have attributed advancement in their career to the confidence and communication skills they gained through the College.
Our experience enables us to stylise our learning programmes to accommodate the different points of emphasis and text selection which occurs between schools. This has ensured our programmes have remained dynamic and highly effective at maximising success in a multitude of learning contexts.
We feel fortunate to be able to guide and assist so many young people and approach all tasks we do with a mind towards nurturing and growing the individual’s potential on all levels.
When you are ready to move beyond what you have already mastered and would like to apply for a position at the College you can complete the Student Application Form.
Once we have received your application, class availability will be evaluated and, if there is a position, an assessment organised to determine your strengths and weaknesses.
We look forward to working with you as you embrace the new found knowledge needed to excel not only in English but in life.
